Albert J. Bonebrake, MD

Dr. Bonebrake completed his undergraduate studies at Springfield's Drury University, before earning his Doctorate of Medicine at Saint Louis University. Residency training in Obsterics and Gynecology took place at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Since completing his fellowship in 1981, Dr. Bonebrake has provided gynecologic oncology services to Southwest Missouri, which include radical pelvic surgery, laparoscopic surgery for diagnosis, staging, and treatment, chemotherapy planning and treatment, closs association with Radiation and Medical Oncology in staging and coordinating therapy, and counseling patients and their families in treatment options.

Dr. Bonebrake is active in the Southwest Oncology Group and Gynecologic Oncology Group Clinical Trials. Dr. Bonbrake is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board Certified in 1981 in Obsterics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Gynecological Cancer Society and Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. When time permits, Dr. Bonebrake enjoys raising registered Hereford cattle, and wading into a cold stream with fly rod in hand to land a trout!
